❀ First Bloom ❀

[All those who have been given magic mirrors will now see them flash to life, the face of a lovely woman adorning the reflective surface. She looks perplexed and curious, like a person trying to solve a puzzle.]

I wonder how you know it's working. Hm.

Hello? Is the mirror broadcasting? If you can hear this, it'd probably be best if we got acquainted, don't you think? It seems as if we'll be seeing a lot of each other. Why don't we get started here? These mirrors- if they work- could be rather influential.

!?

[Touma nearly has a heart attack when a mysterious feminine voice starts talking from inside his pocket. Once the initial surprise wears off, he carefully reaches into his pocket with his left hand and pulls out the now active mirror.]

Don't just start talking out of the blue like that!

I'm already not looking forward to it.

[As outdated and beat-up as his cellphone was, he would readily choose it over this magic mirror in a heartbeat.]

I'm Kamijou Touma.

No, you misunderstand. I'm not some kind of hikikomori who prefers interacting with 2D girls over real ones. My problem is with the mirror itself, not talking to people. Not only is it far less convenient and more likely to get accidentally destroyed than a normal cellphone, but I'm not even sure I can activate it on my own.
