It seems similar to Beldaran's amulet. Though that was only able to pick up or send voices.

Perhaps a bit of your world's magic was brought here to make these mirrors possible. That is one of the other claims, is it not? That not just people, but other places and things from other worlds have been brought as well?

It's possible I suppose... but if that were the case why would it work within the gods' protection in the camp?

No, I think this must be of this world not mine. I'll have to take it out of the camp to properly study it.

I wonder if the merchant has a traveling bag that will fit it... One that will muffle any sounds from it.

That seems like a sound logic. I'm sure if there isn't one readily available they'll be able to come up with something to your specifications. And maybe wrap the mirror in cloth? That would help keep it from shattering as well.

No, you misunderstand. I'm not some kind of hikikomori who prefers interacting with 2D girls over real ones. My problem is with the mirror itself, not talking to people. Not only is it far less convenient and more likely to get accidentally destroyed than a normal cellphone, but I'm not even sure I can activate it on my own.

As much as any army encamped in a foreign world with no allies and no clear goal other than survival can be getting along, I assume, yes.

Forgive me being a little forward, but your name sounds remarkably at home amongst the names of others in the main camp. Are some of these forces yours?

Yes, as a matter of fact. Our soldiers are in the green uniforms, if you spot any.

The lack of allies is...a problem, I will admit, but it seems that fate has seen fit to replace them with newcomers such as yourself, Lady Robin. That is, if you are so inclined.
